Transcript:Man: Should journalists face criminal prosecution for publishing classified information in the public interest? Woman 1: No. The public's right to know must take precedence in a functioning democracy. If journalists can be criminalised for exposing wrongdoing, we have effectively handed governments the power to conceal their own failures. The whistleblower and the journalist are the last line of accountability. Man: Sarah? Woman 2: I agree entirely. Prosecution should be reserved for those who leak the secrets, not those who bring them to public attention.
