You do not need to be Level 3 before you start Road to Level 3.
The programme is designed for candidates moving from a Level 2 foundation towards Level 3. That is why the route begins with Level 2 Clearance before advanced development starts.
If your Level 2 foundation is strong, you move forward quickly. If it is uneven, the programme gives that foundation more attention before asking you to perform at Level 3.
Road to Level 3 is a preparation programme, not a guarantee of a particular examination result. STANAG 6001 defines proficiency levels, while exact JFLT, SLP and national testing procedures can vary. Your result depends on your starting level, training, consistency and performance in the examination.
