Before beginning any excavation work, you are required to identify and mark all underground utilities, gas, water, electrical, and communications cables.
Never begin digging without written clearance from the site engineer.
If you strike an unmarked cable or pipe, stop immediately, secure the area, and report it to the supervisor before continuing.
These rules are non-negotiable.
