Transcript:Reporter: Commander, what can you tell us about the incident on the northern highway?
Commander: At approximately 0600 this morning, a patrol vehicle was struck by an improvised device. The blast caused significant damage to the vehicle.
Three personnel were treated for minor injuries at the field hospital and released. All are stable.
The route has been temporarily closed while engineers clear the area. Operations in the zone continue as planned.
Reporter: Is this part of a wider pattern of attacks?
Commander: We are monitoring the situation closely. I cannot say more at this stage.
